We regularly assess need and demand for different types of programs. As our student body grows and more and more Cuong Nhu students train at high intensities for brown and black belt requirements, we want to be sure we also provide in-house opportunities for stretching and restoration. Two changes in the Unity schedule will occur effective this week:

More Yoga

The Sunday 10am Yoga class has been well attended so far, not just by Cuong Nhu students but also by a good number of other family members. Students have asked for more. Effective this week, we will offer yoga every Wednesday at 7:30pm. Sensei Ming is an excellent Ashtanga yoga instructor. We encourage you to bring a mat and try one of her fantastic classes at no charge!

Kickboxing Discontinued

Although our new location is bigger than the previous one, we still have to make tough choices about which programs get the floor. The demand for Kickboxing classes has not been growing, so effective immediately we will no longer offer those classes. We and Coach John Davis, our Kickboxing instructor, hate to discontinue his classes, but the change comes at a good time for John’s family. His daughter, Janelle, who attends Central, made it into a highly competitive volleyball league this year, which will require them to travel frequently to other states in the region. We love them dearly and wish them great success on the road!
For students currently registered for Kickboxing exclusively, we are issuing refunds for pre-paid tuition. Please call us at 501.664.0604 if you have questions about your billing. We’ll get you taken care of! We apologize for any inconvenience!
